  • I am a professional belly dancer specializing in restaurant dancing, events, senior entertainment, and bachelorette parties. However, if you love my personality and something I’ve mentioned on my website makes you wonder if perhaps I have a costume for something outside of belly dance, please get in touch! You never know what’s in my repertoire and up my sparkly sleeves!

  • No. I ONLY dance for a mixed-gender audience OR all-female audiences. This is stated very clearly in my contract and will be reiterated during the booking process. If I arrive at a performance to discover I am dancing for an all-male audience, this voids the contract and the client is responsible for paying the full balance regardless.

  • YES PLEASE! Thank you for asking! Belly dancers DEEPLY appreciate tips. Part of this is because tipping the belly dancer is cultural - the other part is because tips go toward our costume funds and belly dancers looove sparkly, shiny, pretty things. ; )

Tips can be given to a belly dancer in several ways.
    - Cash can be tucked into the belt of a dancer’s costume. I get bills in every
denomination - there is no right or wrong amount!
    - Cash can be (discreetly or not) handed to the dancer if you’re not comfortable tucking
    it into her belt.
    - Most dancers nowadays have pay apps and you can ask for their handle. No cash?
No problem! Me personally? I have Venmo and Cash App.
    - If you are the one responsible for paying the dancer any balance due for a
performance, you can add some extra money on the final payment.

  • The short answer is… it depends! There are quite a few factors that go into determining an event fee. Some of those are:

    • Length of event

    • Event date (weeknight or New Year’s Eve?)

    • Time of performance

    • Number/length of sets

When clients reach out to discuss booking, I have a conversation with them to ensure I am first able to deliver the performance they are looking for. Then, I gather details about the event that will dictate my event fee. I always ensure clients understand my rates and any payment terms or policies. Being clear up front helps to avoid awkward situations on the back end so we can all focus on what’s most important and that’s enjoying the performance!

  • I don’t formally have a home studio where I teach regular classes. I would not classify myself as a teacher archetype. However, if you’re looking for someone to teach a super fun, one-off belly dance lesson that covers some basic hip-shaking and shoulder-shimmying in a judgment-free zone for something like a girls’ night or corporate event, I’m your dancer!

  • You can try, but probably not. =)
